Exclamation Front Mag wheel clearance Issue!!

Hi,

Recently bought some superwide mags for racing but just have a slight problem with the front wheel clearance from the forks. If i centralize the wheel so the forks have enough clearance then the disk rub on the brembo caliper. Any ideas how i can rectify this as I'm a little baffled. Any help would be appreciated guys thanks.

Think you will need to adjust the spacing between the carrier and the fork. Can you upload a piccie?

Edit

Just measured my spacing, 6mm between the carrier and fork leg

Re: Front Mag wheel clearance Issue!!

You need less spacing between the caliper carrier and the fork mount

Kcboy, how wide are these mags?
can you not shim the caliper out to get clearance?

Re: Front Mag wheel clearance Issue!!

Hi ,

These are the super wide version so 2.75 front and 3.50 for the rear. I've tried shaving abit of the fork mount to move the caliper over which has helped but now the disk nearly touches the fork and the wheel is still not centralized enough. Thanks

The mags you have are too wide. Is there now way of swapping them?
