Hi I need to know what my best bets are for getting a road legal pit bike I got a budget of £600 maybe more to spend, I'm looking for a new bike not used. Anybody manage to get one for this price? If so where and what make?
Thanks Denz13

Yeah i've been looking at that, I also looked at the BAM DSX comes to £440 but not road legal, this is not a major problem as I am not 17 till May so won't ride it on the roads till then anyway.
How much would it cost to get it road legal and what do I need to make it road legal?
Thanks denz13

On the Monstermoto website it tells you how to make your bike road legal http://www.monstermoto.co.uk/pages/roadlegal.htm

I was thinking of doing this but it looked like too much hassle for me

Also Insurance looked like a problem theres only a handfull of place that insure the Shineray XYGY125 VII so it must be very hard to find an insurance company that would insure a bike which isn't road legal as standard.
