New build/Project

Well, Bought a cheep pit bike that was running...

Now turnt into a project, which in the end will be a custom bike totaly!

here are some pics etc!

WHEN WE GOT IT;

Reason its so low is it had the wrong shock, The wrong shock ment that using it like it knackered it and it collapsed etc! i got it like this!

New shock which was an old one i had lying around!

Sorry bout pic below wrong link and i cant get rid of it :/

Old clutch leaver

New clutch and break leaver! I didnt know at the time that they were even ASV replica's, Anyway, The leavers are really nice, Just the bracket is a nasty cast alloy, looks abit nasty, Feels nasty, and well lacks strangth!

Old wiring was Shizenhousing, bodged...So i got at it! sorted it out, Nearly all new cabling, (yes there is two red etc etc, But its the way i wired it. it works fine but if someone else looked at it they would think what ? I'm very very handy when it comes to electrics and soldering, I can change the Surface mount LED's in the ring of light on xbox 360's and they are .8mm x .5mm Lol, but yeah! New cabling and old cablng!

And finaly, i bought new Stainless steel alankey bolts, nuts and washer's to replace all the old crap rusty nuts bolts, phillips and god knows what bolts!

I have used more but i only got pics of them!

Hope you enjoy and i will update when i get more things

Thanks for reading!

Any Q's just ask!

Oh and sorry for Dial up user's lmao

Re: New build/Project

nice work

but why solder the wires, twist and black tape, job done. if you want it proper, go to maplin, car auto or hardware store and pick up some joiners/splitters

Uhm, I prefer to solder, that way they never come undone

Yup! i ordered some yesterday! When they come and i get a new engine i will fit the connectors on for easy access in future! But for now in this engine i couldnt be bothered to faff around with them and to waitfor them to come through the post!

Re: New build/Project

@ Despise Yeah, no where local..part from halfords, But thats a rip of for FOUR connectors at like £3 odd i think ****ing rip of...Whereas maplins online is 10 for £1 summin

The shock has made such a difference like Jenny said, But i'll be getting a new one soon same with new forks, New engine....In fact, New everything!

Doing this with a mate, So its 1/2 on everything! Makes it much more affordable! Both going £100 - £140 Each a month, So between £200 and £280 a month is being spent!
