Few Questions On Shineray XY125GY-VIII

Hi, just got my reg number + tax disc from dvla today. And got a plate made up.

I've been on my bike all day, just wanted to ask use some questions as im first time riding on the road.

1. What gear do use lot be in when you turn corners?
2. Can or are the shinerays De-restricted? Some people said you cant get them derestricted some people said they are.
3. Whats your max speed on these shineray pit bikes, because I've hit 49 but that was on a normal road so at to slow down, but i thought they go 60-70.
4. I aint gave the insurance my reg number yet, as its a saturday/sunday there closed. If police right in there computers my reg plate and it comes up no insurance, would they belive me if i told them that i have insurance but i got to ring the dvla up, or would they arrest me and take my bike until i show them the cover note? lolz.
5. If i went in a food shop, can i leave the bike right out side it like on pavement near the door, or do i have to park it on the road?

if u go to tesco they have a canopy near the entrance leave it there i do and when u ride u will get to know what gears to go in and listen to the engine it tells u all u need to know and i believe u cant derestrict them they are just a slow engine get a 140 my derbi senda 50cc would **** all over that but good luck with the riding and stay safe

some of your questions are absolutely ridiculous

1. it depends how fast your going into the corner, better to be to high a gear than too low becuase if you drop too many gears the back wheel will lock up.

2. must be deristricted if you got 49

3. 60- 70 is a load of crap. with a upgraded carb and exhasut you will be lookign around 55 - 60

4. if you can prove it with a letter or something just carry it with you

5. just park it somewhere sensible in eyesight and lock it up, preferably somewhere with cameras and something to lock it up to securely.

Nice 1, i always change corners in 3-4th gear, is this a bad thing will it mess my bike up? i hate going to first or 2nd gear cos ur right it locks the back wheels.

also can you bump start these and do they have steering lock cant find it or do it

steering lock is infront of the forks on the same side as your ignition just behind your headlight cover

do u be in 2nd gear or 3rd gear or 4th gear or 1st gear wen u turn corners and rounda bouts mate ?

i think its better to stay in 3rd-4th gear when turnin corners

dont get me started on the stadard shineray lump they are ****e i blew the clutch on mine so i put a LIFAN 125 engine in an its loads better but 3rd or 4th im rarly in 1st or 2nd

had 55 out of a stock 110 with avergae geariing and was beign followed side by side by a car


so if you get road geariing youde prob be lookign 60ish mate msot people are hater son this forum and binge hates everything thats not his or anyone that doesnt lick his ring piece

as for 70 with pits it all depends but definately not form a stock engine and gearing

your correct^ but the other guy started talking about 50cc

And I aint no hater and I generally do help at times
