gunna be a good build this i think as your other works been top notch,
the linkage pit bikes are like marmite you either love them or hate them,
they are very forgiving bikes if you make a mistake they seem to correct there selfs well and suspension is lovely!!!

Cheers. I'm looking forward to getting out on it.

Have you got any pics or links to the LXR lower frame/linkage area?

Re: My Linkage build with pics

A little update.

I've got to chop up my exhaust a little for it to fit, as you can see it's no where near fitting.

It needs to be re-positioned and extended to fit this frame, then i need to get the angle right to mount the can.
I've made a tube to fit the can, just need to sort out the rest.

Collar fits nice and snug

The can has a removable sound baffle fitted at the moment, will see what it's like.

Also cut my pegs off to re-position them as i don't like how far forward they are, so moving the back should be more comfortable sitting and especially standing.

Tacked some wire to the blanks so i could hold them in-place

Welded them up, then skimmed then back.

Should be able weld them back on tomorrow.

Also cut some plate to weld to the rear mount to make it a solid bracket coming of the bottom of the frame instead of just a floating mount. (a bit like an LXR) It'll still pick-up on the swing-arm pivot as well.
