Well the end of the year is closing in. Postal services are dog-shit now so I wont risk buying any parts until the festive season is through.
Nothing exciting to update. The next job I will be doing is buying a chain, and getting the sprocket alignment sorted as it's just dawned on me that if it's too far out, the project could well be over.
Reason I say that, is because the rear sprocket is already as close to the swing arm as possible.
The swing arm has to be central in the frame really, but the engine has as far left as possible within the centre of the swing arm.
The only way I will get the sprockets in line if they are too far out, is to have the front sprocket machined so it is 'dished' in the middle, and can push further onto the output shaft, to sit the chain closer to the engine.
We'll see.
Still loads of parts to source. Must get the shock off and into a bicycle shop to have it pumped up with nitrogen again as I let it all out to rebuild the thing.
