valve clearances on yx140
hi , im gonna check my valve clearences on my yx140 tomorrow when i bring some feeler gauges home from work , ive read a lot of mixed veiws of what to set them at . if any bodys know the correct answer for inlet and outlet and wouldnt mind sharing that would be ace , also do yx140 come with a z40 cam on them , or how could i tell if it has a z40 cam .. its a 3rd gen with the 16mm kickstart shaft if that makes any difference..
cheers

Re: valve clearances on yx140
With the Z40 cam you should get a little more power mid to top end as it has a higher lift so keeps the valves open longer. Be sure to upgrade the valve springs at the same time or you can loose power as they will need to close quicker due to being open longer.
