Valve Clearances - WPB 125

Hi All

I am going to check my valve clearances tonight on my WPB 125.
In the book it states that you should use 0.05mm on Inlet and Exhaust which equates to 0.002". But a quick look on the web shows a number of other values. Also they usually give a larger gap for the exhaust.

So my question is what clearances are other people running on a WPB 125? Or does 0.0022 seem about right?

Cheers

Adam

Cheers for the vid mate... but I have set valve clearences before
I am just wondering what differences it makes running a bigger gap. I prob dont make any difference so I will just stick with what the book says.

Cheers

whith a smaler gap the metal expands and pushes the valves in slightly when hot which looses compresion so bigger gap = it can expand and not push the valves in loosing no compresion

in extreme cases what happens is the top of the valve melts into your rocker arm

ive seen it in minis

The exhaust doesnt have to be bigger than the inlet, its not a must.

I ran 0.08mm on both inlet and exhaust on the Yx140.
