i think it is possible but will always be laggy, from memory the turbo is actually from a ride on lawn mower did'nt ferg use a smaller cc engine too? with your 165cc i think you have a better chance of making it work

My engines not up an running yet, it needs a bit of ally welding on the intake manifold, new piston needs decking to lower compression and I’m looking for a programmable CDI to ****** the ignition then ill do the ceramic coating on piston, turbo and exhaust. I might do the piston over the weekend if I can be bothered.
Incidentally OOR are in the middle of a turbo build at the moment and there is a turbo monkey on ebay, see below.

Re: turbo charger

That’s a very interesting set-up does anybody know what that head is as it appears to be running upside down to a conventional head I.e. intake at bottom and exhaust at the top.

hes set that turbo up wrong...hes bolted the turbo exhaust intake to the fuel inlet on the head.

he needs to turn the turbo round and manufacture new pipes...

always some eh???

That’s SOOOOOO FUNNY……..I wonder when he realised his mistake or if he ever tried to start it.
On closer examination he has other issues. It appears he has attempted to fit a dump valve in the system, this is totally useless in a suck through setup……Nice carb though.

I can tell you that the bottom end is a Honda Nice, so maybe worth having a search for what top ends fit them
