NMRRC 2015 Round 5

What a mental weekend!

The pace was so fast! My personal best laptime this weekend of 53.6 would have put me pole last year, this year it was only good enough for 10th!

Race 1 was a bit of a disaster, terrible start and crashing on lap 1 trying to make up for lost time. I managed to work my way back up to 14th.

Race 2 was a cracking race with a fair bit of elbow bashing and only 0.04 separating me and Rob for 7th and 8th.

You've convinced me to go SM

Is 140 the way to go for these races? Can you tune it at all or stock only?

Re: NMRRC 2015 Round 5

if you tune them you will race in open, against bikes kicking out 30bhp - I would just stick to stock class.

140 or 160 are both stock classes.

I race in 140 and the competition is unreal - so close, I race in class B cos I lap Whilton in 58-59 seconds, so far enough of the top lads to not qualify for class A.

Even though, class B is equally tight - it's fantastic fun.

Re: NMRRC 2015 Round 5

there arn't many places that let you on to be honest - biggest practice night is tuesday night at Whilton (the track in this vid)

there are others,

stretton lets us on pretty much anytime, and I've heard FATCATs sometimes let us on on quiet days, but have set bike nights too

Check here for details

It's not everything but it saves me typing

Where are you based?
