Re: Exhaust question

Different engines like a Lifan 150 can have different angles around the head. Same for yx 150cc

Also the new Stomp 140cc 160cc kz and KZR have different shaped pipes.

The Crf50 Crf70 and KLX style bike frames exhausts are interchangeable with a bit of bashing!

The only real difference is the KZ and KZR exhausts and the engine exit angle on a lifan and yx 150cc

is i have a road regal bike with a SDG frame so i bought an exhaust for a Cr3 road legal and it fits the engine but wont go under the rear side panel its 'like the pipe is too Short and the back box is too long (its huge). I wondered if the SDG frame was slightly longer or something

Re: Exhaust question

Usually an exhaust will fit both a Cradle frame "SDG" type and a original tubed crf50 frame.

Mounting points should be the same under the seat rear quarter panel.

Usually any slight differences are taken up by putting the clamp on different area of the end can.

Re: Exhaust question

Does the exhaust actually fit the frame then? I wouldn't worry too much if it fits the frame but the plastics don't quite fit around the exhaust.
