Sprockets
I thought i would clear this thead up as most of the info here I came to find out was wrong and I learnt the hard way. Also il add it was my error in getting my ratio backwards to what I wanted. This information is correct cause I asked a few companies selling the sprockets.
(This information applies to changing the size of the rear sprocket only)
1 tooth on the front sprocket is the same as adding 3 teeth on the rear.
Secondly If your like me and couldnt change the front sprocket and want more top-end speed you have to make the rear sprocket smaller.
It be something like this:
This is for more TOP-END SPEED with a standard of 14T on front and 37 rear
Front--rear----same as
14T --- 37T
14T --- 34T = 15T---37T
14T --- 31T = 16T---37T
14T --- 28T = 17T---37T
14T --- 25T = 18T---37T
Basicly here your taking teeth off the rear to achieve your top-end goal.
And heres a table for making the rear sprocket bigger for more Acceleration.
Front--rear----same as
14T --- 37T
14T --- 40T = 13T---37T
14T --- 43T = 12T---37T
14T --- 46T = 11T---37T
14T --- 49T = 10T---37T
Final NOTE: The above table is an example only as some of those size sprockets may or may-not exsist.
