Bike: stomp z2 140
Stomp z2 140

Hi people I'm new to this forum/arena. Ive a stomp z2 140 and I like the supermoto side of it. My bike seems to bog down at 3/4 twist of the throttle, ive re-set carb and all seems ok. Is there a limiter on these bikes?

Hold it full throttle and you will find out.

If its standard CDI yes theres a limiter.

Re: Stomp z2 140

Hi, its standard as far as I know. Full throttle is limited, how do I go about changing CDI unit and which is suitable for my bike?

Re: Stomp z2 140

yes you can remove the limiter with a derestricted CDI

This is one from the many sellers on the Bay.

If you want full throttle you have got to give it that via the throttle on the right handle bar.

I do advise you to keep a standard CDI as in my personal opinion their is no need to take the engine anyway near the limiter although I run a 140 which has a lot of torque.

If your running a 125 or 110 I can see it being attractive to remove the limiter so you can make use of the full top end power.
