Wiring problems!!!

hi

i have a 125cc pit bike, its the older style, about 2 years old id say, its just the kick start version, no battery etc but im wantin to put a light on the front so need to get a 12v supply.

ive removed the plastics and found a green 6 pin plug near the back of the bike, the wires come from the side casing, do i just need to get a voltage regulator to plug in to the spare plug or is it more complicated than that???

thanks

tom

it easy, relax. yellow & white from stator go into regulator ( check the regulator diagram) then the other 2 pins add wires onto there, 1 is earth the other is live. take the live and put an inline fuse 10A or 15A (amp) so if the regulator fails it wont blow the headlight and thats it your done
