3 things excluding ur level of oil being half way witch is fine

1. Need new fluid
2. needs bleeding (i guess that could count the same as 1)
3. inside the caliper where the rod goes up, rubber/seal is worn out = replace.

if the rubber seal is worn would the fluid leak out with every press?

I would of thout the same altho mine didnt. after 2 years over mine had worn and i found myself having to press harder and harder for it to break good even though I had tried to bleed it with new oil. I changed it and i aint had a problem since

Re: help with my rear brake

hi please help!!!!

did you resolve this matter by using what the fella above suggested??
im having the same problem with mine, but the only difference is that me, like a drained the whole system and pushed the pistons on the caliper all the way in, not thinking about it and now cant get them out enough to get any fluid into the caliper and by the sounds of things via here my rubber bitty in the resivior has died a death too as i have no compression on the pedal either

where and what do i ask for?????

many thanks

phil
