Yx125 engine
Thinking about upgrading my pit to yx140 engine.
How much would my old YX125 engine be worth? just had new valves, stem seals and piston. Does have slight oil leak from damaged gasket. I'll most likely sort that before i sell it if I sell it.

Thought so I would like to get more to the £100 mark so I would need to have oil leak fixed to get the £100.

I'd more than likely be selling mine as a full set up engine, carb, cdi etc.

Re: Yx125 engine
Is it the proper YX125 (Kick in gear) or a non SIG motor (Has to be in neutral to kick start).
If it's the latter, more like £75-£80. If it's the SIG setup, then anything upwards of £100 because they are amazing engines!

Not to sure haven't tried to start it in gear but I do think it is an older one.

Re: Yx125 engine
Can you start it with the clutch pulled in?

Re: Yx125 engine
If its a real yx125
change the cylinder and piston to a yx 140 one
60£ max
then you have yourself a yx 140
