2 stroke piston rings

can someone clear this up for tappety tom as hes saying that his 2002 cr125 only has 1 piston ring

Some make pistons do, some don't.

If one piston has 1notch for the ring must mean it has 1 ring

yeah just googled it but wouldnt you get less comp with one ring

no need to boom tom haha just in all my years with bikes ive never had a piston with 1 ring but as said some do some dont

Dont get me started on these piston rings. been trying for the last 40minutes to get the barrel on over the piston, and its not having it.

Slightly more performance but less life. It's a trade off.

so really better if your racing and want the performance and not so good for the odd track day
