Could anyone in the Essex area be so kind...

This may sound well sad but I have a problem. I have had the stomp for about 4 weeks now and have been slowly getting it how I want it. I have come to my last herdel which is checking the valve clearences. I got the bike out today after reading all the tutorials and watching the you tube vids and got as far as removing the sprocket cover to line up the 2 dots for top dead centre and it all went wrong from there. There was letters and lines every were. I took the inlet valve cover off and I looks like a 2 year old baby would struggle to get any where near the valve let alone my fat fingers. Could someone possible in the Basildon area please show me how to do it. I would gladly offer bear money and travel costs. Many thanks
