Exclamation Carburettor problem!!!!!!!!!

ever since i bought my 110cc bike in May from funkybikes the carb has never worked properly.
What the problem is that if it is throttled to fast from idle it will make a strange BAAAAAWWWW!! noise then die, but will start quite easily affter it has died, i have tried to change the carb settings but with no success, a friend of mind bought the same bike, which came with a different carb and it dose not have this problem.
i dont know if i should change the jets on the carb or just buy a new carb?
can anyone help?

Re: Carburettor problem!!!!!!!!!

maybe a carb issue if the carb is really CRAP.

the air screw should bring the revs down tho, if it doesnt then the mixture isnt correct [or the throttle is sticking?

Re: Carburettor problem!!!!!!!!!

Your carb spring may need changing for a bigger one, basically it sound like what my mate had, if you pull the throttle back fast it dies.

Re: Carburettor problem!!!!!!!!!

You do realise piston carbs without accelerator pumps dont like WOT at low revs or overly quick throttle openings? Sudden openings can create lean conditions, sometimes enough to stall the engine, and that can sap power. Rather be in the right gear with a more controlled throttle hand. Just a thought...

Re: Carburettor problem!!!!!!!!!

A 26mm on a 110cc would be to big.Go for a 22mm

The carbs on ebay that say 26mm are 22mm so maybe one off them would work other wize just a normal 22mm,there is other people that would know on here
