Slam 140 bogging down

I've just picked up a slam 14 mxr up off a friend,checked it all over and replaced dameged/worn parts
Starts fine and ticks over,but on riding it Boggs down and stalls all the time,I've not cleaned the carb yet but it's just had a new air filter fitted

Yeah, u should give the carb a good clean and clear out the jets and it should be good

as said, clean the jets through in the carb, and take a fuel sample if it still has the fuel in from when you brought it, moisture (water) in the fuel will cause this problem too, good luck
