Maybe, a simple automatic reply to the WANTED thread that is already written/cant be changed by yourself that just says something like 'Im interested, Please PM me your contact number.'

I think that its fairly obvious if your getting done,
I recieved these two PM's last week, needless to say, I didnt take the offer!






There is not alot that can really be done to stop this happening, BUT as has been mentioned, if you stick to the rules (IE: dont carry out a sale through PM) then you're safe! Its pretty clear that this guy was full of bull, at the time he messaged me, he had 1 post!

well I think this sucks tbh Im a new member and defo not a scammer. what if I wanted to sell somthing but noone is asking for it in the wanted section. also if i dont do alot of buying and selling on here just the odd bit and only come on for info and help how am I ament to get feedback. or even get 150 posts. most of the info I need is doted around on the site so there no need to create a thread.

how does the feedback thing work anyway? is it like ebay ? wen u buy and sell you leave feedback. or can u give someone feedback for giving you good info and being helpfull in solving a problem?

the 150 post rule is about the only thing we can do to TRY and stop as many people scammimg as possible. what's stopping any tom, dick or harry signing up just to make a load of fake sales ads? 150 posts

if you have things to sell- ebay is your friend, post links to ebay in the relevant section until you reach 150 posts

feedback works exactly the same as ebay too

ive been offerd a pit bike frame from ** GPracer ** who has no posts at all and through pm is it a scam???
