DemonX 160 Proline

hi guys, ive been looking around for a while at a 160 and this seems to be my choice.

But its all confusing of what your actually going to get.

one minute they say they have genuine marzoochi forks, the next its showa reps.

So can anyone shed some light onto this?

also after some talking with mypurerush they have lowered there 160 by £400 but now stating its a proline for that price so just waiting back on an email for them to fix there mistake or to comfirm, which i highly dowt! if it is than head over and grab yourself a bargain!

cheers

They are good bikes from what I've heard, some very good parts on them too. The marzochis I believe are an upgrade you can get for the bike.

I've never seen that supermoto version, and it's chewer I think! Is it a proline?

And I think they either advertise with zochis to make them look better and then tell you it's an upgrade, or it's just a sticker on on standard. Only they will be able to tell you that one. Talk to demon themselves rather than a supplier.

Re: DemonX 160 Proline

yer its supposed to be minimoto maniacs done it and its supposed to have IRK n ****. Nice price!

umm i think with this matter. i am not at this point going to get marzocchi forks or even reps! i think there old models although one looks new.

But either way they will probs come with gold showa reps. they were probs just stickers.

I read a topic from 07 or summit about stomp doing the same thing, admitting they put stickers on (for display purposes ) but had 2 models at the time with real marzocchis 10 were made of one 60 of other. although these were just legs like the ones on ebay for £100.

Re: DemonX 160 Proline

None of the forks pictured above are the marzocchi shivers, they are all chinese forks with stickers. Some even have the stickers from the kids lem/ktm 32mm non adjustable legs - You cant expect to get a 600 quid fork setup on a 600 quid bike.

Re: DemonX 160 Proline

the 2 proline models are old versions that were the same as the stomp elites, marzocchi rep forks made in china apparently under marzocchi's name, still good forks but non adjustable. if it turns out to be the old proline it should have a yx150, if its 400 quid cheaper now buy it
