wiring problem plus more

hi and first off thanks for reading with the intent to help


i rebuilt a battered shineray i got my hands on and have had no end of problems with it.
after months of working on it weekends when i have time and can be a***d im left with these that have me puzzled and any help would be great.


1st and most important as need m.o.t is the left indercator and horn dont work (tested parts with battery) but when i put the indercators on working one or not all the lights est flash with them ??

2nd kick start is hard to kick is a nice way of saying it

3rd can get clutch to bite anywhere other than the end of the release of the lever (i like it at the bottom) but if i adjust it any more than it is it catch's gears

also will switchin to a single pot calliper help my rear wheel locking as if i even think about the rear brake the bike's on it side its unusable


ps most parts including engine and brakes are new ive never had a new bike so dont know if the kick start est will just wear in and sort there self out
