Got the c&e 386 form with it. mot this morning, quote off mce insurance for £357
Just need to reg with dvla
Regarding the certificate of newness, can sign my own declaration from DVLA downloaded form
Newness is defined by dvla as "not having been registered before in UK or any country" but form has to be filled in by importer. Might need to get a vat registered receipt off dealer.
Dont know how far you can stretch this, but if you have receipt off a dealer, this proves its age. You can also get a c&e 389 form. (you need to get the VAT reg company to sign this though) Much easier than getting a C&E 386 form.
