Unhappy bike drives by it self

my lifian 125 chinese cheapie. decided that it rev's it balls off like its stuck and then once in gear it decides to go with out accelerating..plz hlep

i think it is some thing to do with ur mixture screw on the carb

sticky throttle cable sounds most likely, take the filter off, and check the throttle slide is smoothly moving all the way up/down when you twist the throttle, if its stuck halfway up thats why its revving so much/moving without you touching the throttle.

i did fuk around with the small screw next to the air one. how should i fix this problem? i did check the cable before as well it seemed ok moving fairly smoothly although slow recoil.not so loose pretty tight...

best think to do is put the bike on a stand start it and move it slowely till it tickes over nice

wats the best way to lube the cable like with which substance??

does it work straight away when you turn the screw,which way in or out??
im pretty new and a noob.

have you got it ticking over too high... :/

and also maybe throttle jammed but if you been pissing around with it it may just be ticking over to fast

so best just to start it and let it rev like crazy whilst turning the small screw out or in? i dont understand ticking to high? should the result be straight away?

ticking over is when it is 'idoling' when the bike is running without the use of any throttle. hope that makes more sence.
and if it is the idol screw turn it either way and you will hear the engine note change, when you hear the engine note drop and rev slower you know your heading in the right direction.
please correct me if im wrong
