Honda Chaly Value - and what to expect to pay for a....

Monkey bike, DAX, Z50, or even another Chaly.

So here's the thing.

My Pal Bobb, has always loved the Chaly. He used to have one of his own about 15 years ago. It was the vehicle he lost his license on actually, for drink driving. He was using a 1978 CF50 to get home from t'pub.

Chaly prices online, really do fluctuate, from £250 for an out n out barn find, to over £1500 for a good solid bike.

Then moving onto the Z50, Monkey bike etc. It seems there are some which are deemed as 'rare' ones, and they come out at anything up to £3000 each.

So, Ball park figure for an original Chaly? Something that starts and drives, just needs some finishing off etc?
Surely it'd be under £1000?

Which leads me on to ask the question (I hate threads like this, but it's tied into a discussion, so I'm sure it's okay)...

What could one expect to sell mine for?

It's not all original, but it's certainly not an old Chinker. Besides, most of these £2000 Z50s, are made up of OORacing parts anyway...

Thoughts...

Monkeyrun the forum is a better place to ask, the vast majority on here would just be guessing. And as you said the specific model etc can make a massive difference to the price, and whilst we might be able to tell a chaly from a z50...the details are over my head.

got to agree with dangle here, this is the wrong forum to get an accurate answer to this question. you've already opened the thred with more info on these bikes than we the collective forum could dome up with.

are you really selling this? or just interested in what people value it at?
you've not long finished it, would've thought you'd want to get some use out of it first.

Chaly's don't go for a great deal in all honesty modified.

Would think you'd get around £800 on eBay.

MonkeyRun is practically dead these days. Such a crappy forum.

Not selling mine. But my mate wants one. I am unsure what is sensible money vs silly money.
