when i start driving im thinking of doing the same but with an eg6, making it handle better first then putting a b16b in.

Well jordans are naturally heavy but ayee its not bad like.
Id keep the b16a in the eg6 man if its an import b16a's will keep with b16b's.
ek9s are just quick cause of the chassis being seam welded and so on its a cornering machine !

i dont like the jordans, they look just the same as the vti's

i wont be able to get the sir eg6 when im 17 its a 1.6 so ill have to get a little 1.2

the b16b puts out 180bhp and the b16a is 160bhp.

theres a big difference between them, the b16b had a port and polish, inlet and exhaust Valve Spring are High-lift, dual-layered springs, High-comp, low-friction Pistons, lightened conrod, Aluminum die-cast engine stiffner, balanced crank, lightened valves, higher lift cam, better angled valve seats and a better intake mani.

also the b16b is hand built and it revs to 9000rpm safetly with a lower vtec crossover whereas the b16a revs to 8100rpm. the b16b uses the b18 block and same stroke crank as the b16a so it has a longer stroke and uses longer con rods.

its just the status of having a jordan though considering out of the 500 made only something like 300 remain.

Seems you know your hondas man . id be content with the eg6's b16 already in there like, if i was going to do engine swap a b16 id go k or b20

oh yhyh

ive liked honda's since i was a kid so ended up researching them all. it probably will seen as when the ek9s roll out the factory they'll still be restricted and its all about the driver.

this is my old car i miss her i know the outside looks tatty but its what powers it that counts

started off with a 1.25 zetec then swapped for a 1.6 zetec s lump then blew that up so decided a 1.8 zetec lump from my old escort would do the trick bought a megasquirt injection kit had ecu mapped blue point plugs and leads then on with a head skim and forged pistons after that a set off high lift cams were added then i drilled out my cat and straight throughed the exhayst with a nice motorbike can on the back and that was about it lol she pulled like a train this photo was when i first got her and just bought my alloys lol ill try dig up some more later i still have the lowering kit for it never got round to fitting it lol if any one wants that pm me
