Who knows, I always set out with that intention, and usually ride them for a few weeks and decide I'll build a better/different version. Don't complani too much though - almost every bike on this forum has one of my old parts on it - you lot do nicely out of my inability to stick with anything.

Sadly enough most of Jims parts are on two of my bikes, i think it's only the monkey bike that doesn't have parts of jims.

I'll think about that frame/engine combo Jim when the time comes nearer.

Still gotta get bloody wheels, that's my main concern. I just don't think many people have drum wheels anymore. (or at least, a drum front)

Those brakes are really nice and good. My friend have them for he's mountainbike and all I can say they are nice!
Really mtb brakes will fit to a pit bike wheels and fork?
