front break is sticking and making disc red hot!!!
hi there
i have brought a xt125x today and everything is all good except the front brake is sticking on and seemed to slow me down i stoped a couple of times to let the disc cool down as they were red hot, it has new pads and discs just last week but the kid hasent been riden it since i broutht it today.
any one know why this is happerning and is it something i can do may self?
any advice would be great.

shouldnt be sticking m8 i thing it could be your pedal i reckon you should actually take a look at the pads and rear brake system

sorry read it wrong lol take your front caliper off anc check if the pistons move in and out freely

sounds as if the pads are installed correctley or when he fitted them he lost a wheel spacer but put it together anyway

no you can either take them out could have got a bit of surface rust mine did this once local bike shop cleaned them up worked perfect after that

ive done it, i took the pads off and freed the pistons, and put some of that copper stuff on it works and i can stop!!!
