Rear suspension setup on 2012 M2R {PICS}

Hi all just got my new bike and the rear suspension is really soft. Bottoms out when I sit on it and the recoil is very slow. Here is what the suspension looks like..

The shock has an air/oil? valve on the bottom.

Am I right in thinking to make it stiffer I wind the two rings at the top down and I will need to take the bike somewhere to get the shock pressurised?

Thanks for any help. Tom

Yea, try screwing it down first, if that doesn't work you would be best getting a new one

There is a re-bound adjuster at the base of the spring I have found and sorted the problem. Spring is still a little soft tho.

If you have tightend the spring and its still soft then you may be able to buy a stiffer one

Woah woah woah, has it got any gas in? Would probably get it regassed before replacing it! Worth £2 to see if that solves it bottoming.ATS or another car tyre place should do it
