my bike wont start when it do it splutters back fires and dies things I have tried
new plug, new plug cap, cleaned carb, stripped carb and rebuilt it, it was running fine took it out for hours went to take it out yesterday and no joy I'm loosing hope I got a kx 60 never have problems with it I really am stuck with this I hope someone out there can help when I get a chance I am going to strip engine down check timing and valves the bike Is demon yx140 factory race tuned oil cooled with a molkt 26mm carb setup any advice welcome

has it been used in loads of water as mine did the same because i got water into the cdi

I rode it in the rain when I bought it and it did the same I dryer everything out got new plug etc and run fine for one ride but I taped everything up on the bike so water couldn't penetrate but now you have me thinking lol I think I'll strip the electrics and dry it outgoing see if that helps cheers mate

check the ht lead, if it black and rusty shit then cut a little bit off then screw the spark plug cap back into it.
