Re: Cheeky Chaly Rebuild
Aye your telling me! Few years back seemed like everyone was building mini pits and lately when I've been trying to find bits to start a build seems like there's nowt
Pits are only side bikes to myself just always seem to have 1 knocking about, Might chuck this wpb together sell it and build a mini pit for the wee one to try learn on next year but sourcing parts might be shite ha
Still tempted to build a 2t pit but it's totally copying yourself haha, Been wanting one since I owned my tzr and you built the teezer pit but never get time to ever finish things I've got 3 other bikes on the go just now as it is

Re: Cheeky Chaly Rebuild
Nah man, there are loads of 2t pits and monkey out there. Get on it!
They're frustrating to build because it's going against the grain. Hardest part is carburation and exhaust. But they're so fast. Like, on another level to any 4t pit bike.
My old TZR pit used to pull bike lengths on the 190cc+ bikes at Kinsham.
The Rotax is going to be a handful!

Re: Cheeky Chaly Rebuild
I've got a rotax sitting there at the mo but unsure if I wanna split the rs or just mot it to sell on as it wouldn't exactly be ideal with electric start but the front end would be a nice touch on one of my projects
Just let an mx go last month, Full power thing was a fair beast couldn't even imagine what it would go like in a pitbike
What frame was the tzr engine in? Just a standard klx style?

Re: Cheeky Chaly Rebuild
I also came back looking for parts, I can't even pm people for some reason? There's a guy selling a road legal frame and I can't get in touch! I have a mini crf50 rep frame and forks at the min, really wanna throw slicks on it and put a 160 in it

Gotta say I actually really like the pink, Wouldnt have been my first choice but it actually works with the bike fair play for the bold decision as it paid off
