It's not to bad for an old girl , when I was a kid this was one of my dream bikes so thought it would be nice to restore it back to its former glory .

Plus I couldn't say no at £350 for a working mx bike

Re: New project , kx125

yea a 1990 i remember the 90s well from racing back then had kx's myself but we all ended up put cr 125 cranks and pistons for them as to nikle plate the barrels cost a bomb useing the cr crank and piston you could just bore the barrel out.

Re: New project , kx125

The bike is now currently stripped and ready to get the frame painted then built back up .
I've rebuilt the fork and repaired one of dampers where somehow the rod had come out of the top cap . New seals and new oil so just the rear to do now then it should be handling sweet .
