hy all im thinking of getting a go pro hero 3 black edition whats people views on this and what type of memory card is good for these will any ebay jobby work or does it have to be a good one cheers

i think theres different qualities of sd cards, if you type it into google somebody will have answered it there. the better quality the more expensive they get

I was gonna buy a go pro but am thinking of buying a cheaper version that has been getting some decent reviews .
I know what people are gonna say buy for around £60 it's worth a wee shot .

i use the contour gps camera and its great because it tells you your speed, logs your route onto a map( for lap times if that takes your fancy), and allows you to publish the video using something other than youtube. The thing to consider rather than picture quality is the mounts, the contour mounts aren't so great but go pro mounts are awesome and theres so many, but i haven't looked for at other brands so i don't know what there systems are like.

Love my GoPro, I have the hero 2 and have had it since shortly after it was released.

Downfalls... cost.. thats about it..

Always use a class 10 sd card, otherwise you wont get the HD quality. I buy all my memory cards from 7dayshop, good quality at reasonable prices.

If I had the money I'd be buying the new Hero4..
I dont think theres much to be had between the hero2 and hero3.
