bike wont start please help
hi guys i went 2 work today on my road legal an the bike was runnin fine ,left it parked up outside but when i was goin home it wouldnt start when i finally got it going it was backfirin to death then cut out then i remembered it was raining really really hard tday is it possible the rain has done something?iv drand the carb but cant get it goin again if it is rain in the exaust or engine how long will it take to dry out?

just leave the bike to dry for a few hours, if that doesn't work take exhaust off and see if there is a blockage, and take carb completely off and blow through jets.

^^ he is right and then also try this first dry your air filter and check all the electrics and all that sorta stuff. as then you aint got to take it apart and then if that dont work do the above what the other dude sed

i know with a lot of shinerays there are a few problems with the coils so that may be your problem.

cheers guys dont think it the coil cos got a good spark plus its only a couple of week old (the coil that is) the bike starts first time every time so it has to be summat 2 do wiv the rain ,it absolutly ****ed down iv not seen rain like it for a long time iv dried my filter but i fink the rain may have got in 2 the exaust

with a lot of bikes in the rain water just gets into the ignition coil cap witch makes some of the spark jump outside instead of staying in the cap. happens to a lot of bikes they ride in bad conditions on & offroad.

dude check ur timing on ur carb as well tht might have summet to do with it
