engine swap

Hi guys,

looking for guidence, i have a semi auto 90cc pit bike i belive honda crf70 styled with a rear drum. basically its lost 2nd and 3rd gears and im wondering is it easy enough job to fit a lifan 125cc manual engine? obviously id need to fit a clutch lever and cable. Any advice and recomendations welcome, thanks

Yeah its an absolout doddle mate, 10 minute job..

Will the standard 90 loom be ok for the 125 engine or sould i replace that aswell. cheers

To be fair, if the lad aint done it before, and doesnt have the right tools its probably more like an hour, rather than 10 minutes.

The engine i have is fully assembled inc carb,if its just going to be a case of put on engine mounts and plug in the loom then shouldnt be a prob. Is there any major issues when doing this swap?

O and tools wont be an issue i build earth moving vehicle engines for a living so my access to them is endless lol
