got a little 125 road legal SM pit bike yesterday for the girlfriend to learn on and to take away on the back of my campervan, picked it up cheap as it needs a bit of work.. after doing a few searches for various little bits of info i found myself browsing through bits on this site so thought i'd sign up.
planning on getting the engine out and pulling it apart in the next few days, i'm loving how cheap the parts are for these! recently restored a kmx 200 and paid more for a set of powervalves than the cost of a whole new engine for one of these
has 6 months MOT, from a quick look yesterday it needs; rear wheel bearings, steering head bearings, the digital speedo looking at (wont register speed an is only in KMH) and the kick start shaft sorting, i assume that's the problem, it rattles from around that area and the kickstart doesn't work.
