Re: welsh pit bikes

By "sealed bearings", i think he means like these.

It's another seal that fits into the hub to cover the bearings.

Re: welsh pit bikes

Can the bigger wheels be added to any pit bike. Seen a decent demon x 160. What bhp do they run and what are the options to
Increase it

Re: welsh pit bikes

If it's a crf70 size then they should fit. (not sure how much they'll cost though).

Re: welsh pit bikes

They have longer forks, longer seat and the way the larger tank panels meet the rear side panels.

Where did you get the extra seals from?

From my local bearing supplier. Can't remember the size sorry. They should be a generic size though. (might be same size inner and outer as the bearing)

Not Quite Correct Katoom

I'm happy to talk about this, although its probably not of much interest to many.

The WPB Stomp Sealed bearing are not just an external seal, but actually a machined bearing and a matching machined wheel spacer that sits deeper than the normal face contact of a standard bearing. They are stepped, you get a better seal that way and also the spindle/axle is more firm, relying less on a tight spindle wheel nut to stay firm. Front and rear wheel of course, and the rear wheel, is obviously where this is of great advantage.
You Don't get them offered to you from the generic Chinese pitbike parts factorys.

Having clarified one of the actual differences in what everyone says are all the same bikes you can make a choice, but actually not all crf70 main frames and subframes are the same either, but thats another story.

WPB and Styomp have taken what appears to be a generic crf70 bike and engine and actually made a difference to what the factory normally push to the buyer.

Z40 cams
Race engineered crf70 frames.
Improved Wheels bearings spindles and spacers.
