How to tell carb type / size

Hi guys

Might seem a silly question but what do I measure to check carb size?

I bought a Makuni carb from PetrolScooter to fit my stomp 140 but it never ran right - i put the old molk back on and ran fine.

Have put carb on my sons bike yx140 the same engine as mine and still same problem. Have tweaked jets and richened up the needle but still seems to hesitate when revs reach 3/4 throttle ish!!.

Beginneing to think I might have the 22mm version and not the 26mm

Anyway just wanted to know where to measure to check the size.

Cheers

Re: How to tell carm type / size

Sadly no ive just been on the website but I collected it. I just rocked up and asked one to fit the stomp 140, problem is ive bought other things since and they have been wrong so have my doubts, hence why I wanted to check.

Is there anything I should look for ?
