It's going to be a good while yet.

I'm not going to be putting it in a Pit or Monkey though, I've done so much to the Monkey that it would mean undoing a fair bit of work to fit it.

The bike it's destined for is my 43 year old Honda SS50, mainly as I want something different, all the decent SS50's have all been restored to 100% original condition, this 'creation' will really upset the purists out there.

I won't be using this P.O.S 110 engine, it will be going on a modded YX140 with all the usual mods but with lowered compression ratio and beefed up internals to cope with the extra power. I'm doing it more because I can and will learn some new stuff, rather than the eventually finished article.

This is the same style SS50 as the one I've got:

Re: Pit/Monkey engine - fuel injected

ahh ok thanks dervdub
that all makes sense i have two front wheels one thats offset to work with pitbike forks (one thats fitted atm) and a standard monkey offset wheel, so it sounds like the wide glide forks need the pitbike offset.
cheers

heh yeah thats the mega wide version but they do narrower versions look great in the pic but i am guessing it will be a bit of a gamble on how good they actually will be in the flesh so to speak.
