stomp ace kx 100 build

Got a kx 100 lying around thought i would use the motor and put it in my stomp ace chassis got the motor in position ,Rear mount made and the front support bar cut of the kx and tacked into place,All good so far

You'll need to get the front sprocket as close to the swing-arm pivot as possible otherwise the chain will chew through the swing-arm.

Looks like you're a little limited for space around the intake area though.

Looks a good project! Is theretoom for the carb?

Plenty of clearance for pipe before front wheel which is good.

Are you going to weld the front engine support bar to the engine cradle area?

I have set the sprocket high I think when my weight is on the bike it should just clear,I'm thinking of putting a large gusset on the front where the down tube hits the cross bar ,Connecting the support bar to the engine cradle then removing the lower cross bar giving room for the carb what do you lot think will it be strong enough it's just for sm not mx

If your welding in the cradle then it should be strong enough to cut a section out of the lower tube for the carb.

That's what I thought I can put some bent tubes to go round the carb and onto the back of the frame if u get what I mean
