Got an old PW80 Clone to tick over,but....

It wont go for 3/4 revolujtions then stops,

As far as I know it was in a shed with no fuel lines,wiring chopped up, but I put a new stator and magneto on it, if I spray some fuel into carb through the air filter it'll start but dies, could this be a carb problem?

Sorry if it is obvios i'm just trying to get a small 3 gear bike going for the summer for my daughter.It has a jin-ke product of japan carb, says 28mm on the side,obviously on a 4 stroke chinese E22.

Any tips, ideas gratefully welcomed.

they're 2 stroke check the plug and jets in carb

there can be 4 stroke onnes too

look under the seat if theres a tank make sure you put 2 stroke in it

i ment they can have 4 stroke copys aswell my mate has a py90 2/ and in the shop there was one the same with a lifan 90 4/

Hi, thanks, its defo 4 stroke, horizontal chinese type like in the z50.

Think I'll take the carb off and give it a good clean, got one of those irk's just to see if I can get it running, it starts so it will run.

Might go back to an outer rotor kit as kick starting is a killer with the inner kit.

Edit: yep, its a clone/copy of the peewee 80.
