Lifan 125cc engine, Carb blowing out air.

Just fixed up my lifan 125cc engine for my pit bike and got to the stage of starting it up. I then noticed that my carb is blowing air out instead of drawing it in and the engine has no intentions of starting up, Looking for a few ideas i may need to try to get it running thanks for any of your suggestions in advance

when you mean blowing air out im guessing its doing it when your tryin to kick start it. all pits do it. try taking spark plug out small amount of petrol down the hole put plug back in and try start it again

Nah man that don't work, what it is the carb is also overflowing from time to time aswell like the float isn't working properly but i've checked all that and it seems fine...... also have checked for spark and it is sparking, i just have no idea what it could be and it's driving me nuts.

well the crb thing will be the float valve will have crap in it stopping it from closing. also has the engine been took apart at any time as timing might be wrong.

Stripped carb down and everything is as it should be mate... the engine is a 2nd hand engine timing could be an issue as there is no markings on the timing sprocket on the head so i can't be sure if its out of time or not... Any sugestions as to how i time it up without the markings to allign with?
