How can I tell what bike and engine I've got?

How can you actually identify who your bike manufacturer is what engine you've got? (I know the engine displacement) Can you tell from the serials etc?

It's a xr50 styled bike so it's quite old and it's got a 110cc 4 speed semi auto

Google your engines model code,its something like 1p54fmj,found on the casing behind the gear lever.
If its an xr50 replica,twin shocks?
