Bike: Honda Cub 70
Smile Puch Moped Project

Need to complete this before my birthday 30th September!
Just paid for it and going to pick it up in a bit. Am not a mainstream fella as you might have guessed from my honda Cub chop.
Anyway its a 1973 Puch Moped pedal and pop.
Seriously

Wonder if its possible to fit a 50cc pitbike engine or similar ?
It going to look so mad next to this

Re: My new to me Bike

I havent seen the bike in person yet, just an ebay purchase. So not sure about the ignition yet. I cant afford a monkeybike so making do with these mad bikes for now. Binge wanna swap my 2 bikes for your Chaly
Wheelies

Got the idea from an American forum. There's a few guys modifying these

Sometimes I cant believe I'm 23 years old.

Re: My new to me Bike

Got it home and its 90% all there. Need a chain from engine sprocket to back sprocket. Needs Front brake leaver and back tyre has cracks in it so wont pass m.o.t
Its got tonnes of compression. The spark plug had traces of oil on it when i took it out the engine head. Am guessing this is normal on 2 strokes right? It is a 2 stroke right?
I pedaled it using my hands with the spark plug touching the engine head but no spark. Do these engines require a lot of pedaling power to create a spark?
I believe these old bikes dont have cdi's, they have points, never messed with these and dont know what they even look like or what they do....yet.
So many questions lol.
