bike wont start please help
I am on the verge of scrapping my demon x 140 cant get it running when it finally wants to start it splutters backfires and dies had new plug cleaned carb has spark fuel and air when I kick it it backfires and squirts fuel from air filter and smoke tried carb rebuild still no joy starting but don't squirt fuel from air filter no more please I really need help so any suggestions will be really appreciated

Have you checked your mixture screw setting? If it was spitting fuel out the air filter sounds like there's to much going in, either that or you're giving it way to much throttle and flooding the engine

Yes checked the mixture screw just won't start now has strong blue spark if I manage to get it starting it splutters and backfires loads and the kickback on the kick start is ridiculous kicks my leg in the air if that helps

no one will know, unless you check, and eliminate them from your fault finding. You claim you have a spark and fuel...

Well when I take spark out the plug is brown on end strong blue spark and fuel is definitely going through because if I kick it to much it ends up flooding so I drain everything and start again

I've always had 2 strokes alot easier I think to maintain and repair never been the best at repairing four stroke is it an easy thing to do then thanks for your reply
