my dream 110cc wiring/magneto

I also have a dream 110 pit bike witch as ridden into trouble.
I brought the bike from my younger brother who has blown the magneto.
Lttle brother then wants to rip out the wiring loom. it only uses six or seven seperate wires but i took one look and was baffled. after three hours i gave up. the bike ran sweet before the magneto went so hopefully should run again when done. can anyone help me please?
