anyone had any trouble with using a 7 x 5 number , just mines melting.

7x5 and 8x6 on these two.
Rode them both for 18months~ with no issues.

I'm going to do that aswel I need a new plate anyway so just ordered a small one.

i got some metal of a old road sign and it worked well. just make sure to fit the full size one for the mot when it comes round.
