One gets this by meeting the 150 post count as stated or going in one's pocket and buying one's self gold membership

You can start sales threads once you have made 150 posts but no one (other than mods) can actually reply on a sales thread made by another member, you can add onto your own sales threads however

This was done to stop idle chat on sales which generally takes them away from the thread itself
