Red Lodge Crash

Not posted for a long time, only ridden the bike twice in the past 12 months.

Had a play at Red Lodge last weekend with Cool FAB Racing. Cracking weekend run perfectly.

First session back on the bike for 7 months had its ups and downs, quickest in Q1 but ended with a fast front end crash.

Race 2 battle.

Re: Red Lodge Crash

Looks good dude. Good to see you back on a bike.
I've jumped in the BMB this year, did 1 round last year too.

How does the FAB run in comparison?

I enjoy the BMB, but it always seems a bit chaos, rush, groups on and off asap, and then when your second race is over, it's just like, right lets pack up and feck off home.

Its good to get back out.

Two completely different championships doing things very differently.

Obviously the level of competition at fab is not as good, but this year is far better than last year with 5/6 of the stock140/mototeam guys able to win races. But the biggest difference is how the events are run. Fab run practice Fridays, 1 practice, 2 qualifying and 1 race Saturday and warm up and 2 races Sunday. Everything is on time, to the minute, if not its ahead, and if it is ahead its announced. After the races top 3 riders all go straight to a podium presentation/pictures etc. Run very much like a BSB event, as you would expect being a partner series.

At the moment, just riding for fun as and when I want/can afford, I'd pick FAB every time, because I have a fun relaxed weekend not having to worry about when sessions are out, weather I will get my last race etc..
